Birmingham based Fresh PR won the top agency prize of Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy at last weeks CIPR PRide Awards, at the ceremony at Birmingham University’s Great Hall.
The CIPR PRide Awards are hotly contested, with over 1,000 entries received from PR teams, consultancies and individuals across the UK. The awards are designed to recognise and reward outstanding work across nine UK regions and nations.
The judges commented, “Fresh PR is this year’s stand out agency. A significant increase in turnover over a three year period, a sizable CPD spend per head and a strong list of clients wins in the last year were just some of the factors which propelled them to win Gold. The judges particularly liked their targeted and successful approach to STEM industries and Fresh is very adept at delivering in this space, as was highlighted in the campaign case study.
Fresh PR managing director, Amanda Kinbrum, said: “We are in total disbelief at winning the top prize! It’s a great feeling to know that our small agency is punching above our weight and competing with the big agencies in the region. The team work so hard to provide an innovative approach to engineering PR, and I’m so proud that they’ve received the recognition that they deserve”.
Fresh PR was shortlisted for four awards, including two STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) PR campaigns, Outstanding Small PR Consultancy and Outstanding PR Consultancy.
